Fall foliage in Japan

Fall foliage season is almost over this year.
Here is the photos I took last week in Kawaguchiko, the largest lake around Mt. Fuji.

Fall foliage in Kawaguchiko
Leaves change colours in autumn in most parts of the world, but I find fall foliage in Japan is especially beautiful. Many Japanese trees have bright red or yellow colors on the leaves. Because of a drastic change in temperature, we can enjoy fall foliage for a limited time, so people rush into the regions famours of fall foliage viewing during this time of the year.
